In 2007 I began work on what would become a service I offered to clients as a consultant.
It was based on a premise that the executives only had visibility of one or at the most 2 layers below them and mostly in a triangle.Â
They picked the top 10% performers and gave them more to do, more responsibility and more scope.Â
They didn’t know why people did not stay.

Following 3 years of research, training, coaching and working with 500 managers and leaders I started to realise there was a common theme between layers in an organisation, and 6 very critical components or factors.
I presented these ideas to the HRD Conference in Birmingham in 2012 to rapturous applause, and now I would like to update these ideas following 10years additional experience implementing them, and share my thoughts on talent, talent intelligence and talent development with you!
